Happy New Year!
I was just looking at the Chinese New Year dates and found that we are in the Year of the Dragon right now. So, before the Chinese year ends in February when it will become the Year of the Snake, here is the dragon for sale in the shop. In fact there are two, equally excellent condition, one an earlier version with pointed fangs and the later one from the 1970's with the shorter fangs ( this one an earlier 1960's type ). Both have great colouring and hand painted as always with Pelham Puppets, all different and individual. I always take a photo of the actual puppet you are buying, even if I have a second one, apparently the same, but not. The baby dragon is an example of very different painting according to who was in the work room painting at the time....deep colourful splodges or light brushwork, all are individual and that's what is so appealing. Baby Dragon is also available from the shop.
