Just go to the new page, 'Puppet of the Week' to see if your favourite puppet is there.
New to the shop is 'Puppet of the Week'. Every week, starting on a Monday, we will have one of the puppets in the shop at a discount. This idea came to me from being an avid supporter of animal rescue homes, every week they single out an animal with a full description and extra photos. The Puppet of the Week this week will start today with little Bengo the boxer dog appropriately!

I hope you had a good Christmas. I saw that the website had visits from over 250 people on Boxing Day which I was pleased to see. If there are any puppets you'd like to know more details about and more photos, please ask.I only give brief details in the shop pages. Big Ears, the character from Enid Blytons storybooks in the 1950's, is for sale in the shop today. This is the golden skinned version and in good general condition. He certainly looks happy. Noddy is also available today, but the SS wooden head version. This Big Ears is the hollow moulded head type referred to as SL Big Ears. I've just popped in to say I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. I have had a busy day going into Norwich to do last minute Christmas shopping, everyone was walking with intent and purpose and there was a slight air of panic! Then I got back and had to take my daughter to an emergency dentist...an abscess..not good for alcohol consumption, she isn't allowed any with the tablets. Another short trip around to relatives and home now, but pretty tired. Twins are on U.S time still so keep napping. I'm sure it will all be fine in the end, and if it isn't fine, it isn't the end! A good thing to remember. So, have a wonderful few days. Do pop in if you get the chance, wouldn't it be nice, if you could actually pop in, a real shop. Well, if anyone is in Norfolk or passing by, of course you are welcome to come and see the puppets for sale and have a cuppa, give me a call first to make sure I'm here. Well, it looks like we are still here and the world hasn't ended, at least not in Norfolk! The shop has been so busy with many collectors finding the shop each day and hopefully being pleased to do so. I am finding new puppets all the time and working hard to get them listed on the site as quickly as possible. The latest puppet, a fantastic dark skinned early Mike Mercury, came into the shop last night and was sold by the morning. I am probably going to change the titles of the pages to make it easier to browse and not miss certain types of puppet. I'll write again very soon, in the meantime, have fun looking through the pages and I hope you are keeping calm in the hectic festive season. I'll be here every day managing the shop so if you have any Christmas money to spend on yourself you know where to spend it! Today is the graduation ceremony of my son in U.S.A. I cannot be there myself to support and watch him but I thought this an appropriate puppet to add to the shop today. He's a beautiful Professor Owl with mortar board hat with tassels and a cloak with the 1963 tag. He comes in his own stamped box. See him in the shop today! It's been very busy the last few days with people buying Christmas gifts to other collectors and not always sure about their purchase. I've said, anything can be changed after Christmas for another item if it's not right. Stock is changing all the time, so keep looking! |
