Pelham Puppet Wombles

This week I have been busy adding stock to the shop of all types, all prices and from all decades of the Pelham Puppet factory.
From a Wonky toys Old Man to a Lady Penelope lots have been added and several already sold.
Today I will be adding some Wombles to the shop. The Wombles were made in varying numbers for sale, the most popular womble of the time would have sold fastest and the least popular would not have been made in the same quantities. As with anything, the rarer the item is the more valuable it is now.

Listing Times

Many collectors have asked if I can list at a certain time so that they don't miss an item. I have tried that before but one time doesn't suit everyone, we are all on different time zones and work patterns.
I've decided the best I can do for now is to always add new stock between 5pm and 10pm UK time, which narrows the window down a little. I hope that helps somewhat. We'll see how it goes. The shop is still learning, I keep finding new elements I can add to the site, such as a 'chat' box, but I know when I go on a site and a 'chat box' pops up asking if they can help, I usually click off the site! I was looking at the application that shows how it works and after a bit of browsing the various possibilities, a chat box came up and asked if I needed help...I clicked off! So, I don't think I'll add that for now.
I did try having my tweets showing for a while, but as I use twitter so much for stuff unrelated to Pelham Puppets, I decided it probably wasn't what you wanted to read!

Hamleys of London Toy Store

Today I received a box of unopened puppets and a large stack of memorabilia in the form of leaflets, brochures and posters. The delivery came from the son of a lady who used to work at Hamleys in London in the department selling Pelham Puppets in the 1980's. The puppets I received have never been removed from their boxes so I am being a little careful whether to open for photos or leave as they are.
I will add the four I haven't added yet to the shop over the weekend.
There's a 24" puppet that the owner didn't know what it was, so I bought it unseen, but it looks to be a Clown of some sort.
