We all have memories of a Ladybird book. For me, my sister and I always had a new exciting book every year in our Christmas stocking from Santa. I still have my own childhood books now, the images are so evocative of their time. The ladybird books I have to sell are from different eras and have varied rarity and therefore cost. The early books from the 1960's were matt board books, often with a dust jacket. Some of the rarest books can sell for large sums, one of the most sought after book is Cinderella with dust jacket.
The two rarest books I have for sale are 'The Party' and 'A Second Book of British Birds and their nests' both 2/6 early versions.
I'm Imogen from Norfolk, U.K. I have a love of interesting colourful vintage items, especially from the 1950's.
