Mugs! Available on Miscellaneous page.
Well....... I don't really know where to begin! But, you have to know that I have been working on getting nice looking photographic mugs into the shop for around 6 weeks! The first ones all came with the yellow not matching the exterior with the interior. Eventually as the colour arrived further and further from my requirements, I gave up, or rather, they gave up and said it was not possible. Then I decided to try plain white, no border, no interior colour, the images arrived much darker than sent through to them! Another batch was ordered and arrived even darker with lines across. Many have been returned but I was happy enough with the ones on the site now. The wrong coloured yellow ones are only £2. My intention was to have around 6 different puppet types, I have images of the solid head type and yellow boxed era 'people' and others ready to order. All the time I am getting to understand what the printer can do and what they can't do. I am having to over lighten images now before I send them through to them. Once we have a good looking mug for each category we can keep re ordering it...possibly! I got to know the poor customer service staff who finally told me printing on mugs was not the same as printing on paper and admitted defeat, or maybe just wanted me to go away.

AuthorI'm Imogen from Norfolk, U.K. I have a love of interesting colourful vintage items, especially from the 1950's. Pelham Puppets are one of my strongest collecting areas. There is nowhere to buy vintage Pelham Puppets other than through internet auction sites and auction houses and I felt there was room for somebody to open a shop. Categories
