| Type SL Cook from the Alice in Wonderland series of puppets, made in 1950's. The Cook is one of the rarer of the twelve characters and very seldom found. This Cook is in super condition, the best I have seen. She has a very good clean checked dress and white apron with cap. The clothes all are clean and fresh with very little sign of any ageing. The Cook has white painted shoes and legs. She has an amazing face with accentuated features, all with excellent paintwork. The box is stamped Type SL but has no Cook stamp. It has a faded label to the lid as seen. Instructions are included. |
