Looking For Original Owner Puppets

We have had some really beautiful puppets in to the shop recently. We are so grateful to the owners who have trusted us with their precious toys.

When an owner has kept their toys for such a long time and in such amazing cared for condition, they deserve a kind, true and honest appraisal. This is what we give, and the owners have been over the moon with the amounts their toys have brought them and delighted they will have a new home with an appreciative collector. It's a win win situation.

Recently we have heard of a few owners who have tried to sell their items to an online buyer of vintage items, called Vintage Cash Cow, they advertise on TV and have the selling ebay i.d vintagehoneypots, they often sell Pelham Puppets. The problem is that if you don't know how much your items are worth, you really shouldn't trust that you will get the right price.

This is where a specialist seller is the best place to sell as you will get the price you should get as we have the specialist market waiting for these special puppets.

We always suggest looking at ebay completed/sold prices, never asking prices, when you are checking a possible value for your puppet. Hammer prices on auction items are more difficult to see unless you have a specialist account as the prices are not visible after the sale.

If you prefer to sell at auction rather than an online platform or to us, make sure it is a specialist toy sale as the collectors will be looking out for the Pelham Puppets. In a general weekly sale they will get lost and sell for very little, but please try the Shop first, you may be surprised with the value of your puppets and how easy it is to sell to the Shop. Postage paid and collection arranged, no fees or auction surprises, it makes sense to ask us first!
