Interesting emails and phone calls.

It was just over three years ago that I opened the shop. I had no idea how it would be and how it would work out. I love doing it, there's many components to it, searching, buying, photographing and selling. All this comes with an awful lot of communication. I didn't realise quite how much there would be though. I receive many emails a day and several phone calls a week. This is all wonderful, it's been a great boost to me with chronic health problems. But, there are always some funny ones that test my patience!I won't go into all of them, but yesterday was one of the most bizarre.I was offered three yellow box puppets. I asked for an image which arrived promptly afterwards. It was an image copied from an auction house due to sell the following morning. ( I had already seen it) Estimate £30-50 which was about right I'd say. The person who believed he owned the puppets was asking me for £500! I presume he was going to buy them depending on how much I would say I would pay! It's a very mixed lot of emails I receive! Most of the time I get some lovely thank you's and such nice contacts by phone and email and letter too! I am so grateful for those, it helps me forget the crazy ones. I'm glad everyone is happy with the purchases. The 18" Golly sold last week and he is in a very happy home now. The other 18" and 20" puppets are in Germany now. It's great when they find the home they're meant to be in. I'm just the resting place on their journey.Back to work!
