Wuff Snuff Tuff
£350.00
Very rare Wuff, Tuff and Snuff on a single control. These characters from the William Timym comic strips in the 1950's are usually seen as a single puppet. Snuff and Tuff are especially rare to find.
The early ones on the single bar control have a larger pointed nose and have larger ears.
This is probably the best trio I have ever seen for sale. Although there are flaws these are minimal for these characters.
Usually there is significant paint loss on bodies etc, these ones are especially good, just a few points.
Wuff, the black and white dog has bad paint loss to his nose.
Tuff, the brown middle dog, has a fleck of paint loss to one eye.
Snuff, the pale brown dog, has moth eaten ears.
The other paint losses are around the base of the legs and tops of the feet pieces, the paint did not adhere well to the wood and over the years flakes easily.
The puppets are all strung well individually to the long control and move correctly as a trio!
Long original box is good with the character referenced label on the lid.
Please ask if further images are required as the puppets are not easy to capture well!
