Type LA Wags late 40's.

He is made from wooden balls and bamboo limbs.

Paintwork is very good on the body, the black nose has some very minor paint loss. He retains a red felt tongue and wears the red wooden collar.

Bamboo legs have paint loss, typical of these characters where the paint didn't adhere well. 

Early Wags have thin leather ears as this one, later types have felt ears. Both ears are good, one is creased a bit from storage.

Strung on the early style plywood control.

Box is original to the puppet and has no end stamp, often typical of the early characters.

It is in good condition.
