Type SS Pirate Woman, a rarely seen puppet, 1950's era. She has a good blouse with green felt waistcoat. The skirt has some wear and holes in the fabric. The headscarf is good. She has hooped rings in her ears. The black hair is crepe type rather than fur. The face paint has some pin prick paint losses on the metal nose. She has the wooden toggle type boots,black painted and the style used only for the Russian,Pirate and early Gypsy puppets. Box is stamped Type SS Girl so not correct for this puppet but best one I had for the era and type.
