Type SS Pirate Man, he is a rare character to see. On first view, I thought the green waistcoat was a later addition as it showed no wear. However, I have seen this same puppet on www.ppo.co.uk/bimbo/ and it is in the same condition as the one in the images. I always try to find images of puppets sold at auction or ebay if I am unsure of the originality. He is a great character, I really like the colours. He carries the blood stained dagger and wears a painted eye patch. he has painted stubble. The metal pin nose has paint loss as seen. He has toggle boots and composition hands. The clothes have some wear marks and the shirt has holes where rust has worn away the material at the shoulder screw eyes. ( see images ) The sash is very good. Box is stamped one end and has some wear. Pelpop letter is included.
