Type SM King 1950's. Clothes are excellent and are beautifully colourful. The crown, however, looks to have had an addition, the red ball has been added I think as these were usually only on the very early Kings. The red nose used on the puppets was used for the tops, as this one is, but it is painted a shiny red and the crown base is a matt paint, usually that would be gloss. The face paint is good but there is some possible sign of overpainting around the lower jaw. This could have been done a long time ago or I might be overthinking it but I prefer to show for you to decide. He does look stunning though and is a fantastic looking puppet to have in a collection. Box is stamped Dutch Girl with King handwritten over it.
