Type SM Huntsman 1950's, one of the rarer SM type from that period. He has excellent face paint and hook nose with no sign of repair, the nose often seems to break. The puppet has suffered some moth damage to the clothes, especially the fine material woollen coat. The white breeches also have some damage of small holes at the top unseen on display. The yellow waistcoat has also seen a little nibble of felt.The back of the waistcoat is the same material as the breeches and where the material was folded is a hole as shown in images. The breeches have fine little ties at the back of the cuffs, still intact. The moth has not attacked the felt tongue which is still intact or the black felt riders cap with small felt bow attached. He has a mass of auburn thick fur hair and moustache with eyebrows which have been stuck over the black cap. One wrist screw eye is a little open and should probably be closed with pliers. The box is not original to the puppet and is stamped Type SM King so has been swapped at some time. Instructions are included.
