Type SM Clown late 1940's era. He is a lovely character and has the early style painted eyes. The romper is from a well known Pelham fabric of that period, often used for the Clown character. Ruff is good. It is in good condition. He retains his felt tongue. The hat has a tiny moth hole barely seen. He has large composition hands. He has the extra middle tummy string which enables him to turn sumersaults. box is stamped correctly and has a split at one end. Instructions and letter included.
