Type SM Chef 1950's rare puppet. The chef has complete clothes with chefs hat and apron. The costume is discoloured as these white clothes often are. There are some rust marks on the shoulder where the screw eyes have rusted underneath. The face paint is good with a minor scuff under his mouth, he has a painted moustache and a small felt tongue intact. He has curly short hair under his hat. The puppet is strung on the large control with aged coloured buffers. The puppet may have been restrung in the early days, but recently the green mouth string has been replaced. The original box is stamped Type SM only visible and in shelf worn condition.
