Type SL Madhatter from Alice in Wonderland series of puppets. He is in lovely condition, the only defect I can see are some moth nibbles to the rim of the very thick felt hat and the paper label has been replaced. The clothes are all good, the blue jacket is creased from storage. The puppet has a nice feature of an added tuft of fur hair for the beard, the same hair is on the side of the head under the hat, just a small piece. The shirt is a little yellowed at the collar. He has good paintwork. He has been restrung on black strings at some time in his past. The original box is stamped correctly one end and instructions are included. Please see images and ask for further ones if required, I have lightened some to show the hat and jacket a little easier.
