Type LS Black Girl, 1940's.

She has come to the shop from the family of the original owner.

The small collection of puppets are immaculately presented. No damage from storage which is always unusual to find.

The Girl has very good cotton skirt and shirt.

She has good face paint and curly black hair.

The hands are drop lead.

There is the usual paint loss to the bamboo limbs. There is the ring attached to the control for the hands, typical of the early style wonky puppets. This one would be on the cusp of that style.

Box is correct and in good condition.
