This puppet has history! The small collection has come from the original owner's family who used the puppets for shows across the South of England. The owners late father commissioned Bob Pelham to make the compere on a visit to the factory in 1963/4. The SM type puppet has a well made dinner jacket style suit with a small detail of a hanky in the pocket. He wears a bow tie. The screw eyes have rusted and the opening mouth is stiff. The original box is good with end stamp and writing as shown.
