Type SM Russian Woman 1950's a very rare puppet to find.

She always has a very characteristic costume with floral skirt and top which is made in one piece but looks like a waistcoat with blouse under. The front has a cross pattern of stitching.

The lead hands have been repaired in her past. The heavy lead hands very often break at the screw eye as these must have done, new screw eyes have been inserted neatly, see image.

Her crepe black hair is shedding slightly as always happens.

Skirt is very good with no flaws, top has foxing (yellow spots) from age, but it shows much more in images than naked eye. The back of the top has wear to a hole as shown in image.

Black toggle boots are very good.

Felt hat is good with the felt flowers attached still intact.

She retains a felt tongue, face paint is very good.

Restrung on original control.

Box is aged with split but has correct name stamp one end. 

Letter leaflet is included.
