One of a beautiful collection of puppets from the original owner, a gentleman in his 80's who has looked after them since, all blue label boxed in excellent condition.

Type SM Old Man is ready for his next home.

He is a really sweet character with very rarely seen big green eyes looking to the left.

Face paintwork is very good, he has lovely fur hair, the only flaw is that one eyebrow is lost sadly. He has a wispy beard still well attached.

He wears a very good navy stetson hat.

The check wool trousers are good, the thick wool jacket just has a small hole under the arm on one sleeve, unseen as it is on the underside.

He wears a scarf tied around his neck, slightly frayed but no loose threads.

He retains a red felt tongue.

He has the early, late 40's drop lead hands making him especially sought after, but it is his expression and big eyes that really adds to the mischievous character.

I haven't touched the black original strings, even though worn they are not breaking when pulled, so I will add a set of black linen thread to replace as is necessary or rquired.

Box is very good clean condition with the pencil name on one end by the store and the owners small paper label on the other end.
