Muffin the Mule early 1960's. This is the version that has a suedette saddle, later types had a nylon saddle. He has blonde fur hair and seems to be rarer than the dark haired puppet although the original TV puppet had dark hair so is sometimes preferred. He retains his bell and can stand,(elastics have not perished), and bob his head. He is made from a composition material. The puppet has some minimal paint wear on the hooves and is generally grubby. One front leg has split down the join line and would need repairing to clamp it closed if possible to prevent further splitting. He measures approx 6" tall. The box is aged with the correct name sticker one end.
