Muffin dates to 1950's with the suedette material saddle, rather than the later synthetic material. He has some paint wear and chips to the hooves consistent with age and use. He has no damage or breaks and has both original ears intact and also his brown fur mane, slightly thinned on the neck piece.The elastic between the limbs is still taught enough for him to pose. The original bell is still attached and it looks as if the elastic is the original. Box is the first style square box used only for Muffin. It is aged with a split at one corner.
