Type SL Monkey a rarely found character.

Often thought to belong to the 1963 dressed animal range, this one is a 1965 designed puppet.

He is in very good condition with only minimal signs of age.

The gold/blond fur patches by his ears have deteriorated over time with remnants remaing, easily restored with small square patches of vintage fur.

He has the bell on the end of his tail and red fez hat with tassel complete.

The clothes are clean and bright, the multi striped trousers are very good.

There were a few different striped material trousers on this character.

The Monkey has all his toes and fingers intact with no restoration or breaks, a common fault with this puppet.

The same mould is used for hands and feet and there is a small factory hole in one foot which was probably going to be a hand.

This is not a flaw just part of his construction history!

The original box has no visible stamp. It is in good condition.
