Type SM Minstrel early 1950's.

Minstrel has some wear as seen but could be made to look better with a felt tongue.

The main fault is the hands have been reattached at the wrist screw eyes. The big lead hands are heavy so this is often the weakness.

Cotton trousers have some marks on them, jacket is good complete with the two original felt buttons still intact. He was missing his felt bow tie but it was loose in the box, it is thinned and aged but it could be used for the template for replacement. It is usually attached with a small stitch.

Felt top hat is good, just a little wear.

He has good fur hair.

No felt tongue.

Original stamped box in used condition.

(Puppet has come to shop from original owners family, the wrist repairs must have been done some years ago)
