Type SM Minstrel 1940's.

He has come to the shop from the family of the orignal owner and is as immaculate as the others in the collection.

It is one of the earliest minstrels with drop lead hands. The style of jacket slightly different to the 1950's ones with tails and felt buttons. 

Clothes are all clean and free from any damage or storage issues.

He wears a big satin red ribbon at his neck.

The thick felt hat with hat band is excellent and his hair underneath has no damage.

Face paint is very good, he retails the red felt tongue.

Box is correct for puppet, good condition with a  split.
