Type SL March Hare from the Alice in Wonderland collection of characters.

The March Hare is a sought after character for collectors and this one is the grey version, he was also available with a brown head and ears. 

Puppet is in excellent clean condition, the only tiny flaw visible is a small hole in the lower right trouser leg, image included.

He has thick velvety long ears which are good condition and stand up well.

The moulded solid head has no damage.

Facepaint is good.

He wears a good pair of cotton striped trousers with the tiny hole as mentioned.

He has the blue spotted waistcoat and bottle green satin bow tie.

White shirt collar is still white.

He wears a burgundy thick jacket.

The box is early blue label with no end stamp typical for these earlier boxes.
