One of a beautiful collection of puppets from the original owner, a gentleman in his 80's who has looked after them since, all blue label boxed in excellent condition.

Type LA Donkey complete with carrot!

This donkey has bigger bulbous eyes than some and larger painted nostrils, this is a late 1940's era donkey so is one of the first. There is a very small loss on one eye, otherwise very good paint coverage.

Good condition with good face paint and no loss on the bulbous eyes.

Both thick felt ears are good, one flops over. He retains the soft fur tufts on the head and tail.

Bamboo legs are well covered with paint, often this has flaked off more.

He still has his wooden carrot with felt stalks.
