Type SM Devil early 1950's.

This devil has such a fun kind expression!

The puppet is in good general condition with some minor flaws.

The small piece of black fur is missing from chin, also one side of moustache.

The early type of tail trident ( instead of carrying) has a bend in it. I imagine this could be straightened carefully but I prefer not to try to mend.

The felt hat and trident have some minor moth nibbles.

The costume is very good, I can only see one tiny hole in the knee of one leg possibly where a string has previously been inserted.

He has good large lead hands.

Box is the correct box, the puppet came to the shop in a collection from the original owner and she had renamed the boxes multiple times! I have got them all back to their original boxes.
