Type SM Schoolmaster late 1940's.

He is rarely seen and is in good condition apart from some age to the hair and eyebrows.

The early Schoolmaster has no cane and was bald. Sellers sometimes think he has lost his hat and cane but the accessories for Pelham Puppets were added later in the manufacture timeline.

He has drop lead hands.

The facepaint is very good and he retains a felt tongue.

The fur hair has come off the eyebrows with ageing, the hide base is left behind.

The fur on the head is slightly grubby.

Costume is superb, he has a clean white vest with black tie. The suit is excellent.

There was no need for restringing so it is as was.

Box is not his original stamped box but a good substitute for the era and type.
