'Carrot Top' is a very rare Pelham Puppet. * Please read*
Carrot Top measures approx 18". He could do with some restoration.
His clothes are dirty and the back of the wool blazer has some holes as seen. The neck tie just looks grubby so could easily be washed. The trousers are also grubby and have a few small holes in them. The wool cap is good. The striped tee shirt is a bit dirty.
He has a small hole in the end of one finger, his large hands are hollow. His orange hair is ruffled as it should be and would need sticking down to his forehead after restoration of the stringing had been completed. At present there is a string with a brass ring attached, which operates his eyes to open. Another string comes from the same metal strut in his hollow head and up through a hole in his forehead under his hair, this operates the eyes to close. The mouth seems to operate with a finger, there is no mechanism I can see to operate his mouth other than using your finger which works well while holding the stick in his body.
He has no cracks to his face but some paint wear as seen.

I am not familiar with how this puppet operates so have tried to give my best description and photos for you to see if it is all as it should be.
I have described a lot of faults but I think he could be a sorted out by an expert. I prefer to give all the information I have for you to see. Please ask me for any details I haven't included or if you need to know anything I have omitted!
