Type SL pirate Mouse rare 1963 type puppet. The Pirate Mouse is very good with some minor flaws.
The head and face are very good with good pirate hat with skull and crossbones felt patch. The shirt is mottled with ageing stains front and back. There is also a small hole in one sleeve. The sash is good and the striped trousers are clean and bright. Good thick felt uppers for the boots and black shoes.
The waistcoat is made from very thick felt and is missing the 1963 label, I assume this is home made and the original one with label was removed.
Box is very good with owners name written on the top. Stamped Pirate Mouse one end.
Priced taking into account the lack of label and waistcoat.
A very good chance to own a very rare 1963 range puppet which does not often appear for sale.
( I am also adding a 1963 Crow to the shop tonight and the Crow has two labels, so if you really wanted to buy both, you could maybe use one of the labels for the Pirate Mouse )
