This is the sweetest little bird made from mohair and stenciled felt wings. She is called "Lari" and is a very rare Steiff character stock number 033155. She is a bullfinch.
A retired character from 2000 she doesn't often come up for sale as collectors of Steiff tend to hold on to her. Searches show the range of these birds to be valued highly.
She is in good condition with a good covering of mohair. There is a little wear on the top of her head. She retains her Steiff button tag and paper labels.
She measures approx 3".
