Type SM N Minstrel early 1950's.
The puppet is in very good condition, clothes are clean and bright.
The big felt 'buttons' are slightly thinned in the same way the hat is.
The face paint is good, there is no felt tongue.
The felt hat is very thinned from ageing rather than any moth damage.
He has good real fur hair.
This version of N Minstrel had no banjo, these were introduced a little later.
Box is worn with name stamp.
