Type LL Lulabelle Wonky
This is the colourful Wonky Lulabelle with stunning style eye paint.
The puppet is in good condition. She has very good face paint and the rubber lips are perfect, not cracked as often can happen.
Paint is still bright. She wears a delightful necklace of small squares of coloured felt, undamaged.
She should have red and blue and sometimes white feathers in the side of her hair and only the feather holders are present, so these could very easily be slipped back in, the coiled wire is still attached to enable this. There are images of another Wonky Lulabelle with feathers intact here.
The 'grass' raffia skirt is in good condition with some nice colours in it. There is the usual ruffling of the raffia.
Lulabelle's black hair is tightly curled and close to her head. She has brass rings at her ankles and wrists.
One of the maracas she carries is bent/damaged.
The thick wooden control has the Wonky paper label on it and the box also has the Wonky era label and is in good condition. Two sets of leaflets/instructions are included.
The strings are very short but this may be correct for this long puppet which measures approx 24" tall so they are left as they are, the new owner may want to lengthen them. (Ask me if you'd like black linen thread)
