Type SM Golly 20" tall in original brown box. This puppet is very rare and seldom seen for sale. He is in lovely condition and has very full rabbit fur hair with a lovely reddish tone underneath. Even the felt tongue is still intact. His face paint is very good, no scuffs or scratches. His clothes are also in good condition with very little sign of ageing. There is some wear to the red jacket at back of his shoulder. The two felt buttons are thinned but not damaged.
The long brown box has some brown parcel tape on one side and no paper label, common for these early rare puppets.
