Muffin the Mule 1950's version. Muffin was introuduced in 1950's and again in 1980's when it is found in a small yellow animal box. The saddle is the same as the horse on the later type, this saddle is suedette material, one way to tell the difference in era.
Generally good condition with some minor hoof scuffs in the paintwork as is fairly common with this puppet. The blond mane is a little aged, the dark mane is more commonly seen. He retains his little bell and both ears are good. He poses well due to the elastics not perishing too much.
Box is grubby and aged but sturdy.
