Type JC Dixie one of the Hanna Barbera characters of the Huckleberry Hound show in late 1958 to 1960's. Pixie is the other mouse in the series with Huckleberry Hound, Mr Jinks and Yogi Bear. Both Pixie and Dixie have larger ears than the typical mouse made by Pelham Puppets and other subtle differences. Dixie is in good used condition. He wears a yellow felt waistcoat with trim and has a grey felt tuft on his head. The waistcoat is usually stuck to the side of the body as this one is. The two felt ears are good. He has lost his set of whiskers. These could be added with appropriate bristles! There is a tiny pin prick hole seen in the waistcoat. Strung on single bar control with continuous thread from hand to hand and elastic to the middle. The elastic always stretches over time making the stringing wrong, I have shortened the elastic so that he stands correctly but left it uncut in case buyer would rather lengthen hand strings. Box is correctly stamped with a copyright label one end. Aged condition. We also have Pixie available.
