The clothes are yellowed and dirty.
I think the whole costume could be cleaned for a chance of a good outcome.
Jacket, trousers and waistocat have very few holes or damage.
There are a couple of holes at the knees of the trousers but otherwise they are good, just very stained.
The waistcoat also has no holes but is grubby.
The cream linen jacket has yellowing and a couple of marks but nothing bad.
The bow tie is good.
The thick felt hat is good and retains the original card label, yellowed now and no writing visible.
He still has original brown tufts of hair.
The face has some scuffs in the paintwok as shown, these are fairly superficial.
The paintwork on face and hands looks dirty.
The box is not his and is one that I have given him for his journey to a new home.
